For CITERNEO, QWL is an essential lever that enables us to progress and take on new challenges every day. To realize this vision, we have implemented targeted actions focused on safety and well-being, dialogue and conviviality, gender equality, youth employment and integration, and access to work for people with disabilities.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a fulfilling work environment that strengthens the cohesion and performance of our teams, while actively contributing to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. By integrating these principles into our daily lives, we are positioning CITERNEO as a responsible and innovative company, ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow.

At CITERNEO, protecting the environment is a priority. We design all our products with the aim of minimizing our environmental impact and meeting our customers' challenges. Concrete actions are implemented within our activities and encouraged among our employees, such as reducing waste, reusing materials internally, and choosing not to use water in our manufacturing processes.

Since September 2022, we have invested in a new production site that is firmly focused on the future. This site has been built to strict environmental standards, with preference given to local companies and recycled materials, including, for example, asphalt composed of 40% recycled materials. Our new factory is equipped with green technologies such as LEDs, motion detectors, 1,000 m² of solar panels, electric car charging stations, and a biodiversity area. By aligning our infrastructure with the principles of ecological transition, our goal is to achieve energy independence and actively contribute to the preservation of our environment.

Aware of the importance of promoting our heritage and our region, we manufacture all of our products at our production site in Amboise, in the Indre-et-Loire department (37). This decision reflects our commitment to actively contributing to local economic development and job creation in France, as evidenced by our “French Fab” and “Origine France Garantie” labels.

In addition to this regional commitment, we are strengthening our local impact through various initiatives:

• Promotion of the local economy: We systematically favor purchasing from local suppliers, thereby promoting the economic vitality of our region while reducing our environmental impact.

• Eco-friendly actions: We implement various actions to promote the environment and sustainability, such as recycling and composting our waste, thereby helping to preserve our local ecosystem.

• Commitment to associations: We are active members and contributors to several local associations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Groupement des Entreprises Industrielles de l'Agglomération d'Amboise (GEIDA), and MEDEF Touraine. This collaboration aims to stimulate the development of the employment pool and strengthen ties within our community.
